The Home Care Worker Immigration pilots for Child Care and Home Support help skilled workers who have a job offer in the field immigrate to Canada permanently.

These pilots offer permanent residence to skilled workers who want to work in home childcare or home support in Canada.

There are 2 pilots:

• Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot: Child Care
• Home Care Worker Immigration Pilot: Home Support

Each pilot has 2 application streams:

• Workers in Canada
• Applicants not working in Canada

Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements

You may be eligible to apply for permanent residence through the pilots if you have:

• plan to live and work in Canada, outside Quebec
• meet the specific requirements for the stream you apply to
• meet the language requirement
• meet the education requirement
• have enough relevant work experience or training
• have a job offer as a home child care provider or home support worker
• be admissible to Canada
